elevators on level 3. 3/12 ++ comments would be appreciated ++ endosage Daily DeviationGiven 2009-09-18Hospital Sessions 03 by $endosage is part of a series of photographs which seemingly document society without society...a presence of culture and architecture minus human beings. There's something highly eerie and intriguing about the subject which is captured so particularly well in this singular photo. The subtle imperfections make the mind wander into a scenario where a casual, lone human being walked by and began documenting the noticeable lack of people. Sometimes the most subtle messages are the most striking. (Featured by $liquisoft) Comments

--         This is a very cool shot. I don't know if it's the lighting, but I find it very creepy - I'm just waiting for something dark to attack me any minute.
Great POV as well. -- "This is True Love. You think it happens every day?"  from William Goldman's The Princess Bride Always hospitals had given me the creeps, and this underlines the sickly lonliness of them as well. What lurks behind that other door? A weary doctor, or entropy?

Critiques
Being that that was the first thing I noticed, I asked myself why that was. The colors used here are just phenomenally striking, and the image of that elevator door being open with no one inside or beside it just give the whole picture a very profoundly "ghostly" vibe.
However, I do have to admit that taking melancholy pictures of "empty" buildings isn't exactly the most original idea in the world.
I also took some issue with your composition, because the photo is completely dominated by the ceiling. And that pipe... that pipe is killing my ADD right now.
Other than those two things (and they are minor problems) the photo is fantastic. Great capture, and congrats on the DD!
