Dude, I thought of you the MINUTE I saw the subtitles for Avatar. GRR. I don't know which made me angrier -- that or the name of the mineral...

It's official, comments aren't being left consistently from the iPhone version of the site. I could have sworn that I'd already replied to this.

... anyway.

I was told by $scir that the name of the mineral was just something the humans called it in reference the fact that they couldn't get to it. Not because that was it's real name.

Kind of a weird thing to do in the story, but either way, didn't mess things up for me at all. The movie was great. :)

Yeah, I learned a few hours ago on wikipedia that it's a portmanteau, but, come on, Jimmy C! Make a name up!
